A group of climate change activists actually glued themselves to the doors of the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment.
Members of the Extinction Rebellion Ireland conveyed that, what many believe to be, their outlandish protest is to simply highlight “the Government blocking the Climate Emergency Measures Bill.”
The bill seeks to completely ban oil and gas exploration in Irish waters.
Many people feel that this protest was a bit too much as medical personnel’s time and resources are pushed to the limit as it is without having to help remove the glue from these people.
