Gardai in Cork have arrested a woman aged in her 30s in connection with the death of a 2-year-old girl in Cork on Friday morning.
A major garda investigation has been carried out since the tragic death of the little girl, including a door to door investigation into the murder of Santina Cawley in Cork city.
It’s understood that emergency personnel found the little girl in critical condition around 5:30am on Friday morning but tragically she died later that morning in hospital.
