CMO Dr Tony Holohan says not everything outdoors is safe




The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has urged the public to keep up the practice of social distancing even whilst outdoors.

Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing, Dr Holohan said that not everything outdoors is safe and people should continue to follow public health guidelines.

The Chief Medical Officer said that an outdoors summer includes social distancing, wearing facemasks and avoiding crowds.

He added that this is NPHET’s advice and it has always been their advice.
