According to various reports a man from Co Cork is in serious condition in hospital after a workplace accident.
The man aged 38, was tragically electrocuted whilst working at an industrial plant outside Mitchelstown this morning. It is understood the man was working close to large Turbine type machinery at a factory outside Mitchelstown, when the tragic accident occurred, at approximately 10am this morning.
Sources say the Gardaí and HSE paramedics were immediately alerted to the scene, were the man was quickly rushed to hospital.
