A man from Co Cork has won the the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw this past bank holiday weekend. The winner who wishes to remain anonymous won the the jackpot worth €350,000 after he picked his numbers which were his family members birthdays.
The winnig ticket was bought at Centra store on Pearse Street, Kinsale, on Saturday evening. The winner spoke of his joy when collecting his winnings saying: “I used my family’s birthdays to pick the lucky numbers and now those dates are more special than ever” “I couldn’t wait to get here and hand over that ticket. I must’ve checked my pocket a hundred times today alone. It’s amazing how a piece of paper becomes so valuable.”
Meanwhile, the winning ticket of the main jackpot draw worth €10.6 million which was bought Souhan’s filling station in Trim remains unclaimed.
