A Circuit Court judge was told that a 55-yr-old Nigerian man who acted as a doctor had undertaken a botched serious medical circumcision on a 10-month-old baby girl in Co Longford.
According to RTE, Philip Ogbewe has a food shop in Drogheda, Co Louth and is a father of six. It’s understood that he pleaded guilty to endangering the child. He was paid €200 for the sinister practice.
At a trial before the Longford Circuit Court, Judge Keenan Johnson said that Ogbewe will be sentenced on Monday.
