Gardaí in Waterford have confirmed that two men were arrested in connection with an attempted burglary at a pharmacy.
It is understood the two men were arrested after the intruders were spotted on the roof of Burke’s pharmacy at the Hyper Centre, on Thursday morning.
Gardaí say the two men were found hiding in bushes close to the pharmacy following a search of the area.
They added the two men were taken to Waterford Garda Station for questioning.
