A Co Mayo family have reissued an appeal to the find missing woman Sandra Collins, who tragically went missing 15 years ago.
The latest appeal for information comes after Sandra’s family unveiled memorial plaque at Killala Pier over the weekend. Sandra who would have been aged 28 was reportedly last seen in the north Mayo village in December 2000.
Sandra’s family believe that she had met her tragic death at the Pier on the day in question. Gardaí discovered her fleece jacket on the pier during their investigations, but her body has never been recovered.
The memorial has prompted her family to issue statement regarding her disappearance, the Collins family say they will never give up hope of finding her body and have appealed for anybody who might have information to come forward.
