Both Enda Kenny and Joan Burton are today clinking their champagne glasses at the news of rising support by the country’s voters.
A recent poll shows Fine Gael up three points to 28pc, while Labour are up 2 points to 10pc. This is the first time in many months that Labour’s support stands at double figures.
Fianna Fail remains as it was, at 19pc, while Sinn Fein’s popularity has decreased by 1 point, to 21pc.
The same poll shows, that Independents and others have also seen their support drop by 4 points to 22pc.
