According to Met Éireann the country will experience frosty conditions over the coming nights ahead, whilst temperatures will drop to between 3C – 7C and during the day.
The cold snap is expected to hit on Thursday night when temperatures will drop to as low as -2C.
Met Eireann also say frost is expected in most parts, whilst hail, thunder and “wintry falls” will also arrive later in the week.
