Six people are confirmed dead, including the gunman, after a man opened fire at a birthday party in Colorado Springs on Sunday.
The incident happened at a trailer park as people from several families gathered to celebrate an occasion.
It is understood that the gunman, believed to be the boyfriend of one of the deceased, entered a trailer and began shooting at all the adults present. None of the children were injured.
The gunman then took his own life.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
