Thousands of people came to celebrate Christmas early with a 14-year-old who was diagnosed with cancer and his family wanted him to enjoy it one last time. Ryan Roberson Jr. watched a large motorcade pass by his home on Sunday in Houston, Texas, with more than 1,000 participants. The young boy loves Christmas, but he has a rare and aggressive bone cancer called osteosarcoma that has his family sadly fearing that he may not see the end of the year or get too sick to celebrate Christmas in December.

That’s why his aunt, Autumn Young, created a Facebook page for the event, featuring drivers in party attire – including the big man Santy himself! Ryan’s family said he liked seeing a variety of cars, including Teslas, Jeeps, high-performance sports cars, and even fire trucks.
KTRK reports that Ryan said after the party: ‘It was awesome. I didn’t expect nearly as many cars today.’
