According to recent reports, Conor McGregor is expanding his property portfolio by adding a pub in Temple Bar.

The 35-year-old’s offer for a popular bar in Dublin’s tourist district has been accepted, and the deal is expected to be finalized soon. Although the exact amount he’ll be paying remains undisclosed, it’s believed to be in the millions of euros, reports The Mirror.

In 2021, Forbes named the Dubliner the world’s wealthiest sports star after the sale of his Proper No. Twelve whiskey brand for an estimated €584 million.

However, he hasn’t fought in the Octagon since losing to Dustin Poirier in July 2021 and suffering a broken leg.

Despite not competing, the 35-year-old has re-entered the USADA testing pool, as announced by the agency.

It said in a statement: “We can confirm that Conor McGregor has re-entered the USADA testing pool as of Sunday, October 8, 2023. We have been clear and firm with the UFC that there should be no exception given by the UFC for McGregor to fight until he has returned two negative tests and been in the pool for at least six months,” reports The Mirror.

“The rules also allow USADA to keep someone in the testing pool longer before competing based on their declarations upon entry in the pool and testing results. The Notorious’ has been rumoured to fight Michael Chandler before the end of the year but that will not happen until April 2024 at the earliest due to USADA’s rules,” it added, reports The Mirror.
