The contactless payment limit will increase to £100 in the UK from today.
According to authorities, the move follows an upward trend in this form of payment across the country.
But analysts are now warning that the higher limit might give rise to fraud, and are advising retailers to train staff to recognize signs of coercion or duress in the person/s using the card.
