Convicted murderer Graham Dwyer was involved in a fist fight on Good Friday with a rapist named Noel Maher who was convicted of raping his step-daughter.
The incident happened on Good Friday on the E3 landing of the Midlands prison.
The murderer was convicted just one year ago of killing Elaine O’Hara whom he met online and subsequently murdered.
Allegedly the fight was over the former architect becoming incensed when he heard that Maher was spreading rumours about him throughout the prison.
He confronted Maher on the landing and shoved him. Maher drew out and punched Dwyer in the face landing him square on his back before prison guards intervened.
Neither person needed medical treatment, but tensions are said to be remain high between the pair.
