Cork-bound Aer Lingus flight forced to divert to Dublin due to strong winds




Aer Lingus Flight EIN723, en route from Heathrow to Cork, had to divert to Dublin due to dangerously strong winds around Cork Airport on Friday evening.

The flight landed in Dublin without incident and the passengers were ferried to Cork via bus.

Storm Hannah caused severe disruption to air travel on Friday, resulting in a number of cancellations and delays.

Thousands of people remain without power today.
