Local authorities are warning that there’s a great risk of tidal flooding around Cork city later today.
The risk stems from the coincidence of high spring tides, tidal surges, and strong winds.
High tide is due at around 7.30pm.
People are advised to stay away from low-lying areas of the city, particularly around the quays.
