Gardai have confirmed that a man and a woman have died following a multi-vehicle crash in Co. Cork.
The accident, which involved a car transporter truck and several other vehicles, happened at around 11am today on the main N28 Cork to Ringaskiddy road.
The deceased, both in their 80s, were traveling in the same car. The driver of another car was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
