A 12-year-old Belgian girl who recently died after being infected with coronavirus has become a grim statistic, as she is the youngest known person to die from Covid-19 in Europe.
It’s not immediately clear whether or not the deceased had any underlying health conditions.
The coronavirus death toll in Belgium currently stands at 705.
