84 tons of protective equipment for frontline staff, expected to arrive today, has been delayed, according to Sky News.

The nature of the delay is not immediately clear. It is understood that RAF aircraft were ready to transport the shipment from Turkey.

Frontline NHS staff have recently made desperate calls for more supplies as stocks of protective equipment ran low.
