Minister for Health Simon Harris has said that he ‘does not think pubs can re-open until a vaccine (for Covid-19) is found,’ according to an article published by the Irish Mirror.
Those people hoping to get back to their few pints after work might just have to drink at home for another while, as their favourites might remain shut for some time yet.
The minister also ruled out allowing mass gatherings ‘for the foreseeable future.’
Lockdown restrictions were recently extended until May 5.
