A newborn baby has had the dubious honor of becoming the youngest COVID-19-positive patient in the world.
The baby was born to a COVID-19-infected mother in London in recent days. Doctors are trying to ascertain whether the baby became infected pre- or postpartum. Mother and baby are now being treated at different hospitals.
Eleven people have now died from the disease in the UK, while over 5,000 have succumbed to COVID-19 worldwide.
