Coronavirus: Banks agree to introduce a three-month ‘payment holiday’ for mortgage holders affected by the Covid-19 crisis

The ‘big 5’ banks (AIB, Bank of Ireland, Ulster Bank, PTSB and KCB) have agreed to introduce a three-month ‘payment holiday’ for those mortgage holders affected by the Covid-19 crisis

Interest will still accrue for the payments due, however, and banks stressed that the monies will need to be duly paid at a later date.

Consult with your bank for more details about how to avail of the payment holiday.
