British Airways staff have overwhelmingly voted in favor of a proposed layoff deal to save jobs in the long run.
The airline’s main union, Unite, confirmed that 99% of its members had voted to support the deal, which involves temporarily laying off workers on 80% of their pay.
This deal means that all layoffs will be paid, and that there will be no redundancies.
