The top medical expert who’s advising the government on what they need to do and when they need to do it has pleaded with the general public to do what they can to help “flatten the curve” so that the Irish health service won’t get overwhelmed by the number of people it needs to treat.
Dr Holohan said that everyone needs to play their part by reducing all social activity, only seeing a handful of people when necessary and distance yourself when you’re in supermarkets or pharmacies by at least 2 metres.
