Coronavirus: Foreign Office advises against all non-essential travel to some parts of Spain

The British Foreign Office has issued an advisory note recommending to avoid all non-essential travel to certain areas of Spain due to a worsening coronavirus outbreak there.

The note specifically mentions Madrid, La Rioja, and the municipalities of La Bastida, Vitoria, and Miranda de Ebro.

Spain is the second hardest-hit country in Europe, with over 4,000 coronavirus cases now confirmed and no fewer than 91 deaths.
