Coronavirus: Glasnevin-based Dublin school students’ parents told to report immediately any symptoms their child may have




Parents of children at a Glasnevin-based Dublin secondary school have been told to inform health officials immediately should their child experience any symptoms of the coronavirus.

The school has been closed for at least 14 days will all students and staff being isolated for fear of any potential spread after the first known confirmed case of coronavirus was detected in a male student at the school on Saturday.

It’s understood that parents will be receive a daily text with updates on what health officials are doing. They have been told to immediately respond should their child experience any flu-like symptoms such as a fever, pains, aches, shortness of breath, headaches or vomiting.

The HSE say that they’re directing all concerned as to how they need to act for the next 14 days.
