A health association here in Ireland has warned that the development of a vaccine for Covid-19 is ‘likely to take up to 18 months.’
Members of the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association say that a viable vaccine will not be available for quite some time yet.
While several trials are currently underway, an effective and safe vaccine is still a long way off, and that’s assuming that one is developed at all.
