The HSE and the Department of Health have moved to reassure health care workers that they’re definitely going be provided with proper personal protective equipment that will be fit for purpose in the future.
The assurance comes after a large number of PPE’s that were flown to Ireland from China were faulty and could not be used by nurses and doctors who are trying to fight the coronavirus outbreak across Ireland.
The next batch of PPE’s will be flown into Ireland later this week.
