The number of coronavirus-related deaths in Italy has increased significantly over the last 24 hours.
There have now been 366 deaths and over 7,300 infections confirmed.
The Italian Government has taken the unprecedented decision of isolating an entire region in the country, affecting around 16 million people.
At the same time, the Irish Government blithely has allowed hundreds of Italian nationals to travel and party around the capital and elsewhere this weekend.
