RTE has announced that it will not bring in any audiences for its programs for the foreseeable future, due to the worsening coronavirus crisis.
It is understood that the broadcaster made the announcement via email to all its staff earlier today.
The coronavirus situation has also prompted the Taoiseach to order the closure of all childcare and educational facilities from tomorrow.
