Coronavirus: Senior officials in the UK will soon meet for a ‘lockdown summit’, to discuss whether or not to extend current restrictions until May or beyond

A number of senior officials in the UK will soon meet for a ‘lockdown summit’, where they will discuss whether or not to extend current restrictions until May or beyond.

Many businesses already struggling financially were hoping for some restrictions to be lifted, but that seems to be out of the question for now, at least until the Prime Minister is fit to return to work.

In short, there appears to be little chance of the current lockdown situation to be lifted across the UK anytime soon.
