Spain has reported 523 new Covid-19-related fatalities over the last 24h.
The official death toll there now stands at 18,579, with 177,633 infections.
Many in Spain believe that the true figures are far higher, however, due to statistical inconsistencies across different organizations counting the number of deaths and infections.
