The UK has confirmed that 761 more people have died from Covid-19-related causes in hospitals over the last 24h.
The official death toll across the UK now stands at 12,868, with 98,476 confirmed infections.
These figures are somewhat misleading as many people who may have died from Covid-19-related causes outside of hospital settings might not have been included in the official tally.
