The health situation in Spain is going from bad to worse, following the death of 838 more people from Covid-19-related causes in a 24h period.
The total death toll now stands at 6,528.
Spain is one of the worse-hit countries by the coronavirus pandemic. The situation in Madrid is particularly grim. As the number of deaths increased, an ice rink that usually hosts birthday parties and other leisure activities had to be converted into a temporary morgue.
