The UK has reported 207 additional Covid-19-related deaths.
The total death toll now stands at 1,235.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is himself infected with the disease, recently said that ‘more stringent’ lockdown measures may be introduced to curb the spread of the infection.
