Taoiseach Leo Varadkar reportedly said that schools ‘might remain closed until May.’
All schools, colleges, and creches are currently closed, scheduled to re-open on March 29. It is now unclear whether or not this will happen, however, due to the rising number of coronavirus infections in Ireland.
There are now 557 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.
