The HSE announced this evening that there are 69 new cases of covid-19 in the Republic of Ireland bringing the total to 292 confirmed cases in the Republic. Ten new cases were announced today in Northern Ireland, bringing the total there to 62.
Combined, this means that there are now 354 confirmed cases on the island of Ireland.
Thus far, there are just two deaths on the island from coronavirus.
In the UK, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged people to avoid unnecessary contact and travel. The number of coronavirus deaths in the UK has now risen to 69.
