
The HSE announced on Saturday evening that there was 527 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland with another 31 people dying. They also confirmed some 465 cases returned positive from Germany.
It brings the total in the Republic of Ireland to 10,647 cases and 365 deaths with the government expecting a 30% increase daily from this week.
There’s 57% of men with coronavirus and 43% of women with the average age being 48.
Meanwhile in the north, there were 76 new confirmed cases today bringing the total in Northern Ireland to 1,882 with the total number of deaths there now standing at 124.
It means that as of Tuesday morning, there’s a total of 494 deaths from coronavirus.
