Two field hospitals have been set up around the city of New York to cope with an expected influx of Covid-19 patients.
The facilities, erected at Central Park and at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, will begin taking patients almost immediately.
Over 4,000 people have now succumbed to Covid-19 across the United States as infections inch close to 190,000.
