According to an article published by Sky News, a UK doctor has said that ‘what’s coming is extremely big’, referring to a potential upsurge in Covid-19 cases across Britain.
The doctor, who’s understood to be working in the frontline at a hospital in south London but chose to remain anonymous, added that the UK outbreak could be ‘worse than Italy’, and that hospitals could get overwhelmed very quickly.
There have been almost 4,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases across the UK so far, with 177 deaths so far.
