The UK has reported the death of 881 more people from Covid-19-related causes.
The official death toll there now stands at 7,978 with experts predicting that within a matter of weeks, that figure could hit 25,000.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been released from intensive care after his condition got better over the past two days.
It’s understood that Mr Johnson is sitting up in bed and is breathing on his own and feeling better.
