The country seems set for mini heatwave after weather forecasters have predicated that temperatures will be as high as 20°C over the coming days. The predictions come after a weekend soaring temperatures across the country.
According to Met Eireann the warm temperatures will last up until Thursday at the very least. A spokesman for Met Eireann has said: “It’s looking very good. The warmest parts of the country will be up to 17°C, Tomorrow will be a mostly sunny day with top temperatures ranging from 15°C to 17°C. “Wednesday will be another fair day with good sunshine. Temperatures inland will reach 16°C in the afternoon.And on Thursday, we will see temperatures similar to Wednesday of around 16°C.
The good weather is a welcome change as temperatures around this time of year normally only get as high as the low teens.
