Country singer Garth Brooks has reportedly accepted an invitation to perform at Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony on Wednesday.
It is understood that the President Elect’s wife Jill Biden called Brooks personally.
The singer said that his performance ‘is not a political statement,’ referring to it as an ‘act of unity’ instead.
