Enda Kenny attacked Sinn Fein today in the Dail. He went after Gerry Adams and Mary Lou McDonald and said that IRA “covered up abusers and moved the perpetrators around the country so that the untouchables would remain untouchable.”
This outrage comes hot on the heels of the Mairia Cahill cover-up, in which the lady in question was raped by an abuser and subjected to an embarrassing, degrading and ddespicableKangaroo-type court.
Kenny said: “They thought so much of this Republic that they would honour their rapists, gift us their child abusers under a so-called elite republican dispensation.
He went on to say that if Sinn Fein loved Ireland so much, they’d help with inquiries and give information the authorities.
These revelations about Sinn Fein covering up abuse are seen as ironic considering that Mary Lou McDonald was spouting off about the Catholic Church covering up abuse while her very own party was doing the same.
Polls show the Mairia Cahill scandal and Sinn Fein’s flip flop attitude to water charges have significantly hurt them in the polls.
