Airbnb has reportedly removed a listing for refusing to accept vaccinated guests.
The host, believed to be in Victoria, Australia, refused accommodation for a couple because they were fully vaccinated against coronavirus. A widespread conspiracy theory claims that vaccinated individuals ‘shed’ cells that infect non-vaccinated people.
While the effectiveness of some of the Covid-19 vaccinations remains in question, the ‘shedding’ theory has been widely debunked as none of the vaccines currently available in Australia contain a live virus, so they cannot ‘infect’ other people.
