Italy has just announced a new lockdown as coronavirus cases are on the rise again.
Ten out of the twenty regions that make up the country will face new restrictions from Monday, which will remain in place until April 6 at least.
Virus variant B.1.17, first identified in the UK, is now predominant across Italy. This variant is believed to be deadlier and far more contagious.
