All Cineworld outlets across the UK and Ireland are to close with immediate effect this week.
The company has blamed Covid-19 for the situation, which they say has become ‘unviable.’
Up to 5,500 jobs are now at risk. Cineworld is one of the largest cinema operators in the world.
