In yet another failing of the motley crew that is the current Government, none of the 1,000 public car charging points promised over 12 months ago has actually been installed.
The plan called for 200 new points to be installed each year, with 1,000 supposedly being in place within five years.
There are currently 750 public car charging points around the country, and most of them are the ‘slow’ kind.
According to the Government, Covid-19 is to blame for the delay.
