An Post have issued a notice informing the public to expect mail delays from today onwards.
It is understood the notice comes as the company have introduced new measures to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak.
An Post say they will introduce staggered shifts for those working in mail centres across the country.
The company say the measures are being introduced in order to implement safe distancing for staff.
They added that the health and safety of staff is of the upmost importance and have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
